Goldsboro - Mr. David Allen Chesnutt, 77 of 613 S. Taylor Street, passed on Tuesday, March 22, 2016 at Wayne Memorial Hospital, Goldsboro, NC. The celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, March 26, 2016 at 11:00 am at St. Mark Church of Christ DOC, 700 W. Ash Street, Goldsboro, NC. He will be laid to rest at Wayne Memorial Park, 2925 Hwy 117, Dudley, NC. There will be a wake on Friday, March 25, 2016 at St. Mark Church of Christ DOC from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm with the family arriving to receive and greet friends from 6:00 pm until 7:00 pm.
He was born on October 13, 1938 in Clinton, NC to Henry Chesnutt and Alice Nadine Davis Chesnutt. He is survived by his wife, Peggie Robinson Chesnutt, daughters: Charlyne Edwards and Michelle McCoy and son, David Chesnutt.
