I really enjoyed having talks with him when we would run into each other. Sleep in Paradise Spike. Family know that I am praying for you all...🌹

Prayers offered for cousin Spike. It’s been at least 50 years i last saw Spike. The memories of his visits north in those years always make me chuckle.

I have fond memories of Spike from my teenage years in Kenansville. Deepest condolences to his family and friends!
It's been many years since the Christmas Eve that Robert and I spent with Jackie, Spike and Shirley. My love for Spike has always stayed strong and he was a good friend to Robert and I. I will surely miss him but will always remember the good fight he fought with his illness yet keeping that sincere smile shining for all to see.

My sincere condolences to the family! Mr David was a very nice man and will be missed by all who knew him. RIP Mr David!!

Many years back when Spike was in his early twenties his Uncle Bill and I were in North Carolina to visit his mom. We didn’t get to see this part of the family very often as we were from California. Took a trip out where Spike was working which at that time was on a hog farm, being from San Francisco this was all new to me. Spike took the time and with such patience gave us the tour and explained and answered every question we asked. I have never forgotten that trip and how my young nephew treated us.Was such a pleasure to spend time with Spike..... Give my love to your Uncle Bill when you see him, he most likely will have more questions for you. Aunt Patti.
My Thoughts and Prayers are with each of the Family members during this time of sadness. Your chains are gone you have been set free My God,My Savior ha ransomed you and like a Flood His Mercy rains Unending love, Amazing Grace, REST IN PEACE My FRIEND!
