La Grange - Mrs. Debra P. Gills, 67, answered the Master's call on Wednesday, September 25, 2024 at the UNC Medical Center, Chapel Hill, NC. The celebration of her life will be held on Thursday, October 3, 2024 at 1:00pm with a viewing from 12:00pm to 12:50pm at Goldsboro Chapel Free Will Baptist Church, 1314 Ben Brewington Court, Goldsboro, NC. She will be laid to rest at the Wayne Memorial Park, 2925 US 117 Hwy, South, Dudley, NC.
She was born on March 3, 1957 in Wayne County, NC to Floyd and Georgia Mae Howell Packer. She is survived by her husband of over 45 years, George A. Gills; her daughter, Ta-Tonisha Jenkins (Tommy); her two sons: Geremy Gills (Lisa) and Ahmad "A.J." Gills; four grandchildren: Cameron Shaw, Addison and Mason Gills and Forever Gills; two brothers, Floyd Packer (Carol) and Gary Packer (Elaine); one sister, Wanda Smith; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other family members and friends.
