Dearest Lance, Sterling and the Powell Family. At this moment, I know the pain and heart ache seem, unbearable. Your Beloved Debra, has been called home by the Almightly. It too, has made my heart heavy, as Debra and I were school mates from elementary to high school. We then met again at NC A & T SU in 1979. It feels like yesterday, when we were grade school girls walking home, playing softball at recess against the boys or just enjoying our lives in Mt. Olive. Your Beloved, Debra was a Beautiful Woman, both inside and out; but this is something you already knew. One image of her that will always remain with me, was from our early teens. Debra came back to school, one fall, and had the most exquisite "Afro" imaginable. It was like something from "Soul Train." As she moved gracefully across campus, a grand aura surrounded her and it was breathtaking. Your Beloved Debra, is now gracing Heaven with that same regal presence. May God bless and keep You, the Powell Family, safe in His Goodness and Mercy. Peace Be With You.
