Greenville Mr. Delmus Thompson, 59 of 106 Fairlane Road, passed on Tuesday, May 21, 2013 at Vidant Medical Center in Greenville, NC. The celebration of his life will be held on Monday, May 27, 2013 at 11:00am from Best Grove Missionary Baptist Church, 1065 Tommy's Road, Goldsboro, NC with Reverend Joe A. Jackson officiating. Burial will follow in Old Mill Cemetery, Goldsboro, NC. There will be a viewing held on Sunday, May 26, 2013 from 2:00pm until 7:00pm, with the family present from 6:00pm until 7:00pm in the J.B. Rhodes Jr. Memorial Chapel at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home and Cremations. He was born on January 10, 1954 in Wayne County, NC to Charles W. and Rosa Coley Thompson. He is survived by his mother, Rosa Thompson. A professional, sympathetic, dignified, and compassionate service have been entrusted to J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home and Cremations.
