Mrs. Delna Wade Artis' Obituary
Dudley - Mrs. Delna W. "Toot Toot" Artis, 69, departed this earthly life to be with her heavenly father on Thursday, April 14, 2022 at home. The celebration of her life will be held graveside on Saturday, April 23, 2022 at 11:00am at Old Mill Cemetery, 3718 Central Heights Road, Goldsboro, NC. A chapel viewing will be held on Friday, April 22, 2022 from 4:00pm to 6:00pm at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home & Cremations, 1701 Wayne Memorial Drive, Goldsboro, NC.
She was born on August 10, 1952 in Wayne County, NC to George Exum and Dorothy Marie Wade. She is survived by her loving husband, Joe Artis,III; three sons: Joe (Tamyra) Artis IV of Goldsboro, Cedric (Reneé) Artis of Goldsboro, NC and Joshua (Michelle) Artis of Pooler, GA; one brother, Johnnie Mack (Kathleen) Wade of La Grange; six grandchildren; three great grandchildren and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
