Goldsboro - Ms. Delores Braswell Jones, 76 of 1303 S. Taylor Street, passed on Thursday, October 17, 2019 at home. The celebration of her life will be held at 11:00am on Friday, October 25, 2019 at St. Mark Church of Christ, 700 W. Ash Street, Goldsboro, NC with Bishop Alton A. Smith officiating. She will be laid to rest at the Wayne Memorial Park, 2925 US Hwy 117 South, Dudley, NC. There will be a viewing held on Thursday, October 24, 2019 from 2:00pm to 7:00pm with the family arriving to receive from 6:00pm to 7:00pm at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home & Cremations, 1701 Wayne Memorial Drive, Goldsboro, NC.
She was born on March 25, 1943 in Wayne County, NC to Isiah Braswell and Ruby McKinnie Braswell Brewington. She is survived by three children: Stephanie Jones of Brooklyn, NY, Darryle Jones of Brooklyn, NY and Kevin Jones of Carrboro, NC.
