Ms. Denise Swanette Dixon's Obituary
Goldsboro - Ms. Denise S. Dixon, 60, passed on Wednesday, May 5, 2021 at Wayne UNC Health Care, Goldsboro, NC. The family will hold a private service. The Dixon Family recognizes that Denise “Neicy” Dixon was known and loved by many, having friends that she has known a lifetime and coworkers with whom she has worked with for over 30 years. We have therefore extended the hours at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home & Cremations, 1701 Wayne Memorial Drive, Goldsboro, NC to give you all the opportunity to pay your final respects on Saturday, May 15, 2021 from 3:00pm to 4:00pm.
Please note that this is not a funeral but simply a place to gather in Denise’s honor. During this time, you are welcome and encouraged to leisurely share your stories, thoughts and prayers as well as sign our book.
In closing, the Dixon family would like to extend our condolences to you as well. We know that Denise meant a lot to so many people and we sincerely thank you for being an essential part of her life.
Denise Dixon will forever be loved and missed by her family and friends. She graduated from Goldsboro High School and worked at Butterball for over 30 years. She had her father, mother, and 3 siblings who proceeded her in death.
She was born on December 28, 1960 in Wayne County, NC to Roy and Rematha Cobb Dixon. She leaves behind a daughter, a son, 2 grandchildren, 4 sisters and 3 brothers and a host of nieces, neohews, family and friends.
