Goldsboro - Mr. Derrick Wright McClendon, 62 of 3910 Central Heights Road, passed on Thursday, November 10, 2016 at Kitty Askins Hospice Center, Goldsboro, NC. The celebration of his life will be held on Friday, November 18, 2016 at 11:00am at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home and Cremations. He will be laid to rest at Old Mill Cemetery, 3718 Central Heights Road, Goldsboro, NC. There will be a viewing held from 10:00am until 11:00am in the chapel.
He was born on September 29, 1954 in Anniston, Alabama to Earl McClendon and Lela Mae Hill McClendon. He is survived by his wife, Janice D. McClendon and children.
