Goldsboro - Ms. Dollie Mae Newell, 74 of 312 N. Alabama Ave., passed on Wednesday, January 22, 2020 at home. The celebration of her life will be held on Sunday, January 26, 2020 at 1:00pm at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home and Cremations, 1701 Wayne Memorial Drive, Goldsboro, NC. She will be laid to rest at the Golden Gate Memorial Gardens, 4734 Highway 117 North, Pikeville, NC. There will be a viewing held on Sunday, January 26, 2020 from 12:00pm to 12:50pm in the chapel.
She was born on July 20, 1945 in Greene County, NC to Alvin and Lillie Mae Swinson Newell. She is survived by her sister.
