Dudley - Mrs. Dolly Mae Johnson,71, completed her earthly journey and transitioned from labor to reward, Sunday July 21, 2024 at home. The celebration of her life will be Thursday, August 1, 2024 at 11:00am with a viewing at 10:00am in the chapel of Young Levett Funeral Home, 129 West Washington Street, Monroe, GA. She will be laid to rest in the Harris Cemetery, Harmony Church Road, Good Hope, Georgia.
Dolly Mae was born on May I, 1953 to Frank and Mammie Williams in Morgan County, Bostwick, GA. She is survived by her devoted husband, Leroy Johnson, Goldsboro, North Carolina; her mother, Mammie Williams; sister, Willie Ruth McNair (Wiley); brother, John Williams and a very dear nephew, Matthew Williams all from Monroe, GA; four aunts: Bessie Frison, Williston, FL, Margie Hudson, Rome, GA, Pauline Richardson, Ellenwood, GA and Emma Lily Williams, Monroe, GA, and an uncle, Henton Akridge (Nell) Decatur, GA and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by an older brother, Leon Williams of Monroe, GA.
