LaGrange Ms. Donna Gail Lawson Goldring, 53 passed on Thursday, March 14, 2013 at Harmony Hall Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 23 2013 at 1:00pm from the Holly Grove F.W.B. Church 3221 Kennedy Home Road, LaGrange. There will be a public viewing held on Friday, March 22, 2013 from 1:00pm until 6:00pm with the family present from 5:00pm until 6:00pm at Loftin Memorial-J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home, 106 N. East Street, Kinston, NC. Donna was born in Lenoir County, NC on June 13, 1959 to Preston and Ella Sutton Lawson. She was a member of Holly Grove F.W.B Church. Donna was preceded in death by her father, Preston Lawson Sr. She is survived by her daughter, Kimeria Lawson of Goldsboro and son, Joseph Skyes of LaGrange; her mother, Ella Sutton Lawson of Kinston; brothers, Preston Sutton Jr. and Julius Lawson both of Kinston, Kenneth Lawson (Carolyn) of Snow Hill, Anthony Lawson of New Carrollton, Maryland, Melvin Lawson of Washington, D.C, and Terrence Lawson of Laurel, Maryland; sisters, Lottie Perkins, Sue Hutchins, Laverne Earl all of Kinston, Barbara Sutton (Frank) of Upper Marlboro, Maryland, Vivian Woodson of Glen Ardenm Maryland, and Cynthia Smith of Atlanta,Georgia, and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
