Raleigh - Ms. Dora Mae Bowden, 102 formerly of Goldsboro, passed on Wednesday, December 11, 2019 at the Transitions Life Care Hospice Home, Raleigh, NC. The celebration of her life will be held on Friday, December 20, 2019 at 1:00pm at Woods Chapel UAFWB Church, 928 New Hope Road, Goldsboro, NC. She will be laid to rest at the Old Mill Cemetery, 3718 Central Height Road, Goldsboro, NC. There will be a viewing on Thursday, December 19, 2019 from 3:00pm to 6:00pm at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home & Cremations, 1701 Wayne Memorial Drive, Goldsboro, NC.
She was born in Wayne County, NC to John W. Parks and Mary Best on September 25, 1917. She is survived by one son.
