Goldsboro - Ms. Dorothy Croom Harris, 87, a resident at Goldsboro Assisted Living, passed on Friday, May 11, 2018 at Wayne UNC Health Care, Goldsboro. The celebration of her life will be held on Wednesday, May 16, 2018 at 11:00am at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home & Cremations, Goldsboro, NC. She will be laid to rest at the Hooks Grove Church Cemetery, 290 Hooks Grove Road, Pikeville, NC. There will be a viewing held on Tuesday, May 15, 2018 from 2:00pm to 7:00pm with the family arriving to receive friends from 6:00pm to 7:00pm at the funeral home.
She was born on June 18, 1930 in Wayne County, NC to Charlie and Minnie Johnson Croom. She is survived by five daughters and one son.
