Goldsboro - Dr. Dorothy Elizabeth Lewis, 59, passed on Friday, July 22, 2016 at Kitty Askins Hospice Center, Goldsboro, NC. The celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, July 30, 2016 at 12:00 Noon at St. Mary Roman Catholic Church, 1000 N. Jefferson Ave., Goldsboro, NC. She will be laid to rest at the Evergreen Memorial Cemetery, 3888 U.S. 70, Princeton, NC. There will be a visitation held on Friday, July 29, 2016 from 4:00pm until 6:00pm with the family arriving to greet friends from 5:00pm until 6:00pm at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home & Cremations, Inc.
She was born on July 23, 1956 in Wayne County, NC to Edward Earl & Doretha Watson Lewis. She is survived by her fiver brothers: Donald Lewis of Maryland, Edwin Lewis and Earl Lewis both of Greensboro, NC, Manual Newsome of GA and Derrick Lewis of VA.
