Goldsboro - Ms. Dorothy Lewis, 71 of 904 B Olivia Lane , passed on Wednesday, April 5, 2017 at Wayne UNC Health Care, Goldsboro, NC. The celebration of her life will be held on Tuesday, April 11, 2017 at 12:00pm Goldsboro Chapel Free Will Baptist Church, 1314 Ben Brewington Court, Goldsboro, NC. She will be laid to rest at the Old Mill Cemetery, 3718 Central Heights Road, Goldsboro, NC. There will be a viewing held on Tuesday, April 11, 2017 from 11:00am to 12:00pm at the church.
She was born on September 28, 1945 in Wayne County, NC to Bircus Lewis & Mary Emma Bowden Lewis. She is survived by her daughter, Tallemeko Lewis of Raleigh, NC and her sister, Mozella "Doll" Shine of Goldsboro, NC.
