Goldsboro - Mr. Earl A. Rodgers Jr., 68 of 1701 E. Pine Street, passed on Tuesday, February 4, 2020 at Kitty Askins Hospice Center, Goldsboro, NC. The celebration of life will be held on Saturday, February 15, 2020 at 1:00pm at Word of Truth Christian Fellowship, 1401 N. Carolina Street, Goldsboro, NC with Pastor Timothy Dortch officiating. He will be laid to rest at the Evergreen Memorial Cemetery, 3888 US Hwy 70 West, Princeton, NC. There will be a viewing held on Saturday, February 15, 2020 from 12:00pm to 12:50pm at the church.
He was born on September 11, 1951 in Wayne County, NC to Earl Alvester and Bessie Lee Braswell Rodgers Sr. He is survived by his loving wife, Antoinette Whitfield Rodgers.

On Friday, February 14, 2020, the family will be receiving friends at 104 Coburn Drive, Goldsboro, NC, where they will also assemble for the funeral procession on Saturday, February 15, 2020.
