Goldsboro - Mrs. Edith Gray Everette, 86 of 206 N. Claiborne Street, passed on Tuesday, July 31, 2018 at Wayne UNC Health Care, Goldsboro, NC. The celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, August 11, 2018 at 1:00pm at St. James AME Zion Church, 206 S. George Street, Goldsboro, NC. She will be laid to rest at the Everette Cemetery, Goldsboro, NC. There will be a visitation held on Friday, August 10, 2018 at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home & Cremations of Goldsboro from 1:00pm to 7:00pm with the family present from 6:00pm to 7:00pm.
She was born on September 12, 1931 in Johnston County, NC to William Sherman Eatmon and Roxanne Whitfield Eatmon. She is survived by four children: Carol (Levi) Dillahunt, Jonise (Ronald) Stallings, John Everette Jr. and Sandra (Rick) Newsome.
