Ms.Hugee was a life member of NC Area IV, Zeta Phi Beta Sorority. When we did an Elder Care Project last year, Ms. Hugee was one of the leaders in her chapter to make the project a success. She was a delightful person with whom to work. Her light will surely be missed.

I am saddened to hear of the passing of Edith Hugee. I met Edith years ago when I served as Unit Director at Cherry Hospital. Edith was always pleaseant and professional in her role as a social worker, working in psychiatry. We briely connected through one of her family members earlier this month. Prayers to the family and all that loved her. A beautiful smile.

I am sadden by the passing of Edith. She and I worked together for years at Cherry Hospital. She was a great coworker and friend. She was quick to listen and slow to anger. She always was helpful to me and others. Such a beautiful woman with a beautiful spirit. Edith will be missed.
