Ms. Edna Mae Burden Davis' Obituary
Goldsboro - Ms. Edna Mae Burden Davis, 81 of 318 E. Spruce Street, passed on Monday morning, February 15, 2016 at Kitty Askins Hospice Center, Goldsboro, NC. The celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, February 20, 2016 at 12:00 noon at Woods Chapel FWB Church, 928 New Hope Road, Goldsboro, NC. She will be laid to rest at Wayne Memorial Park, 2925 US 117 Hwy, Dudley, NC. There will be a visitation held on Friday, February 19, 2016 from 2:00 pm until 7:00 pm with the family arriving to receive friends from 6:00 pm until 7:00 pm in the J.B. Rhodes Jr. Memorial Chapel at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home and Cremations.
She was born in Wayne County, NC on November 26, 1934 to Charlie Burden and Lou Stokes Burden. She is survived by four children: Ethel Davis of Goldsboro, Floyd Davis Jr. of Raleigh, Melvin Davis and Kevin Davis both of Goldsboro.
