Goldsboro - Mr. Edward Eugene Lewis Jr., 53 of 1805 Middleton Road, passed on Monday, January 1, 2018 at Duke Hospital, Durham, NC. The celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, January 6, 2018 at 12:00pm at Goldsboro Chapel FWB Church, 1314 Ben Brewington Court, Goldsboro, NC. He will be laid to rest at Old Mill Cemetery, 3718 Central Heights Road, Goldsboro, NC. There will be a viewing held on Friday, January 5, 2018 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at Central Heights FWB Church, 302 Ervin Drive, Goldsboro, NC.
He was born on April 14, 1964 in Lenoir County, NC to Laura Gardner Lewis and Edward E. Lewis Sr. He is survived by one daughter, Keira Lewis; one son, Austen Lewis; one stepdaughter, Saniquea “Ni Ni” Everette (Johnathan); four grandchildren all of Charlotte, N.C; one sister, Myra Mitchell (Orlando); and two brothers: Elder Danny Lewis and Elder Tracy Lewis (Teresa) all of Goldsboro, NC.
