Mr. Edward Earl Shepard's Obituary
Goldsboro - Mr. Edward E. Shepard, 69, passed on Sunday, October 10, 2021 at home. The celebration of his life will be an outside tent service on Saturday, October 23, 2021 at 11:00am at First African Baptist Church, 803 Harris Street, Goldsboro, NC.
He was born on August 5, 1952 in Johnston County, NC to Jesse Shepherd and Victoria Stancil Shepherd. He is survived by his wife, Evelyn Braswell Shepard; his children: Jason Devaughn, Stacy Shepard, Rodrick (Cynthia) Shepard, Edward Jermaine Shepard and Malik Williams. Ed was blessed to be a wonderful grandfather to Joselyn, Eliana, Gabrielle, and Benjamin Shepard; Giovanni Bennett and Eva Hill; and Karson Williams. He is also survived by his siblings: Mildred Stowe, Elmo Shepherd, and Juliet Davis of Selma, NC; Irene (Gregory) Alford and Bernice (Jasper) McNair of Smithfield, NC; James Wesley (Wilson, NC); and Velvaline (Nathaniel) Sanders of Clayton, NC. He was adored by a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
