California - Mr. Edward Lawrence Stallings, 62 formerly of Goldsboro, passed on Saturday, November 28, 2015 at the VA Palo Alto Health Care, Palo Alto, CA. The celebration of his life will be held on Wednesday, December 16, 2015 at 1:00pm in the J.B. Rhodes Jr. Memorial Chapel at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home and Cremations. He will be laid to rest at Old Mill Cemetery, 3718 Central Heights Road, Goldsboro, NC. There will be a viewing held on Wednesday, December 16, 2015 from 12:00 noon until 1:00pm.
He was born on May 20, 1953 in Goldsboro, NC to Jay R. Stallings and Agnes Lewis Stallings. He is survived by a son, Johann Stallings of Germany; sisters: Valnolia Cox (Tommy) and Maxine Robinson of Goldsboro, Hazel Walker (Edward) of Charleston SC, Emelda Brooks (Jimmy) of Stone Mountain, GA; brothers: Jay Stallings (Linda) of Lithonia, GA and Larry Stallings (Barbara) of Patterson, CA, and one aunt, Minnie Mozingo of Wilson, NC.
The family will receive friends at the home of Tommy and Valnolia Cox at 106 Waters Circle in Goldsboro.
