Dover Ms. Elaine Chapman, 75 of 730 Bell Town Road, passed on Thursday morning, June 6, 2013 at Ayden Court Nursing and Rehabilitation, Ayden, NC. Her homegoing celebration will be held on Wednesday, June 12, 2013 at 1:00pm at Heath Abundant Life Ministries, 1317 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd, Kinston, NC with Bishop Aaron McCotter, officiating. The interment will be a private ceremony for the family at home. There will be a viewing held on Tuesday, June 11, 2013 in the Nannie D. Loftin Memorial Chapel at Loftin Memorial-J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home from 3:00pm until 7:00pm. Ms. Chapman was born on November 11, 1937 in Craven County, NC to the late Bessie and Benjamin Franklin McCotter. She is survived by three sons, Charles Watkins of Riverside, NJ, Bradley "Diesel" Chapman of Greenville, and Wright Chapman of the home. A professional, sympathetic, dignified and compassionate service has been entrusted to Loftin Memorial-J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home, 106 N. East Street, Kinston, NC.
