Elaine Hunter loved God and her family more than anything else. She was so very proud of her son and his accomplishments.She loved gardening, growing all kinds of flowers and vegetables. She loved going to church, gospel music, good food and being at the beach.Several years ago when Elaine was diagnosed with breast cancer, her first words to me were " I'm not afraid of this, God will give me strength." And every day for probably close to a year of constant doctor visits, chemotherapy and enduring a masectomey I never once heard her complain. She read her Bible daily, she prayed and she always reminded her friends and family that God was good and He was her comfort and her strength.I admired her so much for being so strong and at peace and that is something I will never forget.
Rest in peace Elaine. Rest high on that mountain, your work on earth is done.
