Goldsboro - Mr. Elisha Broadhurst, 87, passed on Thursday, October 8, 2015 at Goldsboro Assisted Living, Goldsboro, NC. The celebration of his life will be held on Sunday, October 11, 2015 at 1:00pm in the J.B. Rhodes Jr. Memorial Chapel at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home and Cremations. He will be laid to rest at the Willie G. Broadhurst Memorial Gardens, Sevens Springs, NC. There will be a visitation on Sunday, October 11, 2015 from 12:00 noon until 1:00pm in the chapel.
He was born on March 3, 1928 in Wayne County, NC to Emmitt Broadhurst and Irene Flanagan Broadhurst.

The family is receiving friends at the home of his niece, Eldress Ann Tyner, 805 Franklin Street, Goldsboro, NC, where they will also assemble in preparation for the funeral procession.
