Goldsboro - Ms. Elizabeth Whitfield Rhodes, 91 of 306 S. Herman Street, passed on Saturday, November 26, 2016 at Vidant Medical Center, Greenville, NC. The celebration of her life will be held on Friday, December 2, 2016 at 11:00am at Greater Guiding Star UHC, 1114 S. Slocumb Street, Goldsboro, NC. She will be laid to rest at Elmwood Cemetery, Goldsboro, NC. There will be a viewing held on Thursday, December 1, 2016 from 5:00pm until 7:00pm at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home & Cremations.
She was born in Wayne County, NC to Brodie Whitfield and Narcissus Joyner Whitfield. She is survived by three children.
