Pikeville - Ms. Ella Artis, 80 of 961 Pikeville-Princeton Road, passed on Saturday, January 11, 2020 at Kitty Askins Hospice Center, Goldsboro, NC. The celebration of her life will be held on Friday, January 17, 2020 at 11:00am at Elm Grove Church Ministries, 118 Booker Street, Pikeville, NC with Apostle Kenneth Vaughn officiating. She will be laid to rest at the Golden Gate Memorial Gardens, 4734 Highway 117 North, Pikeville, NC. There will be a viewing held on Thursday, January 16, 2020 from 4:0pm to 6:00pm at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home & Cremations, 1701 Wayne Memorial Drive, Goldsboro, NC.
She was born on August 24, 1939 in Wayne County, NC to Jack and Annie Mae Wooten Dickerson. She is survived by her children, grandchildren and siblings.
