Goldsboro - Mrs. Ella Louise Isler Horne, 86 of 1407 N. George Street, passed on Wednesday, November 14, 2018 at Wayne UNC Health Care, Goldsboro, NC. The celebration of her life will be held on Tuesday, November 20, 2018 at 11:00am at Greenleaf Christian Church DOC, 2110 N. William Street, Goldsboro, NC with Reverend G. Shyrl H. Uzzell officiating. She will be laid to rest at the Wayne Memorial Park, 2925 US 117 Hwy South, Dudley, NC. There will be a viewing held on Tuesday, November 20, 2018 from 10:00am to 11:00am at the church.
She was born on May 5, 1932 in Wayne County, NC to David and Louise Harper Isler. She is survived by her loving husband, Jasper Horne; sisters: Bessie I. Scott and Lillie I. King both of Goldsboro; her children: Dr. Dorothy H. (Pedro) Heath of Goldsboro, NC, Jessie Lee (Judith) Horne of Virginia, Anthony (Yvonne) Horne of Winston Salem, NC and Patricia (Larry) Byrd of Hampton, Virginia. She is also survived by her nieces: Wilveria (William) Worrell of Egg Harbor Township, NJ, Rose Hinnant of Waynesville, NC, Cardriner Bowden of Palm Desert, CA, Janice Scott Raynor of Forestville, MD, Cecelia L. King, Patricia Moses and Shirley Moses all of Goldsboro, NC; Her nephews include: Ihsaan (Badia) Abdul-Azeez of Durham, NC and Dewitt (Alyce) King of Bayboro, NC.
