Raleigh - Ms. Emma S. Fennell. 97, completed her earthly journey on Thursday, July 11, 2024. The celebration of her life will be held on Tuesday, July 16, 2024 at 11:00am at the First African Baptist Church, 803 Harris Street, Goldsboro, NC. There will be a viewing held on Monday, July 15, 2024 from 4:00pm to 6:30pm at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home and Cremations, 1701 Wayne Memorial Drive, Goldsboro, NC. She will be laid to rest at the Elmwood Cemetery, 900 W. Brick Street (Hwy 117 Bypass), Goldsboro, NC.
She was born on May 20, 1927 in Wayne County, NC to James Patrick Shadding and Cherry Bryant Shadding. She is survived by her children, grandchildren and other loving relatives and friends.
