Goldsboro - Mrs. Emma Lee Young, 98, passed on Thursday, January 27, 2022 at home. The celebration of her life will be held on Monday, January 31, 2022 at 1:00pm at Greater Guiding Star United Holy Church, 1114 S. Slocumb Street, Goldsboro, NC. She will be laid to rest at the Buckhorn Memorial Garden, 1064 Bryan Blvd, Goldsboro, NC. There will be a viewing held on Sunday, January 30, 2022 from 4:00pm to 6:00pm at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home & Cremations, 1701 Wayne Memorial Drive, Goldsboro, NC.
She was born on December 8, 1923 in Wayne County, NC to Henry Langston and Effie Whitley Langston. She is survived by her children, grandchildren, other loving relatives and friends.
