Kinston - Bishop Ernest Odell "E.O." Edwards, 92 of 309 Park Ave., passed on Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at Lenoir UNC Health Care, Kinston, NC. The celebration of his life will be held on Sunday, December 31, 2017 at 1:00pm at Hull Road Free Will Baptist Church, 2650 US-258, Kinston, NC. He will be laid to rest at Wayne Memorial Park North, 1191 Old Grantham Road, Goldsboro, NC. There will be a viewing held on Saturday, December 30, 2017 from 3:00pm to 6:00pm at Loftin Memorial-J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home, 106 N. East Street, Kinston, NC.
He was born in Greene County, NC to Charity Bullock and Stephen Edwards. He is survived by his wife, Ruth Morris Edwards of the home.
