Goldsboro - Mr. Ervin “Nookie” Speight Jr., 52, passed on Friday, July 31, 2020 at Wayne UNC Health Care, Goldsboro, NC. The celebration of his life and interment will be private on Monday, August 10, 2020 at the Eastern Carolina State Veterans Cemetery, 164 Longs Plant Farm Road, Goldsboro, NC. There will be visitation on Sunday, August 9, 2020 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at the funeral home. Mask required and social distancing protocols will be in place.
He was born on July 20, 1968 in Wayne County, NC to Ervin Bernard Speights Sr. and Rosa McElroy Speight. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his children and siblings.
