Pikeville - Ms. Esther "Sis Whitley" Williams, 87, passed on Saturday, August 7, 2021 at Kitty Askins Hospice Center, Goldsboro, NC. The celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, August 14, 2021 at 1:00pm at Mt. Zion Church Ministries, 323 Whitfield Drive, Goldsboro, NC. There will be a chapel viewing held on Friday, August 13, 2021 from 4:00pm to 6:00pm at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home & Cremations, 1701 Wayne Memorial Drive, Goldsboro, NC. She will be laid to rest at the Old Mill Cemetery, 3718 Central Heights Road, Goldsboro, NC.
She was born on October 9, 1933 in Greene County, NC to Claude Whitley Sr. and Daisy Suggs Whitley. She is survived by her children, grandchildren, sisters and other loving relatives and friends.
