Goldsboro - It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Ms. Ethel M. Barnes, 83, who transitioned from labor to reward on March 03, 2025 at Goldsboro Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Goldsboro, North Carolina. The celebration of her life will be held on Tuesday, March 11, 2025 at 12:00pm with a viewing from 11:00am to 11:45am at Best Grove Missionary Baptist Church, 1065 Tommy’s Road, Goldsboro, NC. She will be laid to rest at the Wayne Memorial Park, 2925 US Hwy 117 South, Dudley, NC.
She was born on October 14, 1941 in Wayne County, NC to James Kornegay and Addie Best Kornegay. She is survived by her children, grandchildren, siblings and other loving relatives and friends.
