Goldsboro - Mrs. Ethel L. Yelverton, 78, passed on Sunday, March 10, 2019 at the Brian Center, Goldsboro, NC. The celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, March 16, 2019 at 11:00am at Goldsboro Chapel Free Will Baptist Church, 1314 Ben Brewington Court, Goldsboro, NC with Elder James E. Collins officiating. She will be laid to rest at the Wayne Memorial Park, 2925 US Hwy 117 South, Dudley, NC. There will be a viewing held on Saturday, March 16, 2019 from 10:00am to 11:00am at the church.
She was born on September 18, 1940 in Wayne County, NC to John and Ethel Mae Lewis Jr. She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Hercules Yelverton and her children.
