Eva Mae Thompson's Obituary
Goldsboro Ms. Eva Mae Thompson, 80 of 704 S. Best Street, passed on Thursday morning, October 31, 2013 at home surrounded by family. Her homegoing celebration will be held on Wednesday, November 6, 2013 at 1:00 pm in the J.B. Rhodes Jr. Memorial Chapel at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home and Cremations. She will be laid to rest in the Resthaven at Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery, Casey Mill Road, Dudley, NC. There will be a viewing held on Tuesday, November 5, 2013 from 1:00 pm until 6:00 pm with the family present from 5:00 pm until 6:00 pm. She was born on May 30, 1933 in Wayne County, NC to George and Georgia Wooten Thompson. She is survived by her three children: Yvonne Thompson, Anthony Thompson and Kenneth Thompson all of Goldsboro; three grandchildren, Latrice, Latrish and Armax; three sisters: Mable Coley, Doris (Clarence) Newkirk and Mamie McKinney all of Dudley, NC. Professional, sympathetic, dignified, compassionate care and service entrusted to J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home and Cremations.
