Goldsboro - Mrs. Evangeline Jones Isler, 84 of 214 Winslow Circle, passed on Friday morning, January 9, 2015 at Kitty Askins Hospice Center, Goldsboro, NC. The celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, January 17, 2015 at 12 noon at Greenleaf Christian Church DOC, 2110 N. William Street, Goldsboro, NC with Reverend Dr. William J. Barber, II, officiating. She will be laid to rest at Wayne Memorial Park, 2925 US 117 Hwy, Dudley, NC. There will be visitation held on Friday, January 16, 2015 from 1:00pm until 7:00pm with the family arriving to receive friends from 6:00pm until 7:00pm in the J.B. Rhodes Jr. Memorial Chapel at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home and Cremations. She was born on June 14, 1930 in Wayne County, NC to Willie and Eula Greenfield Jones. She is survived by her husband, David J. Isler Jr.; one daughter, Rose Hinnant; two grandchildren: Brandi Hinnant-Crawford and Brianna Hinnant; and great grandchildren.
