Mr. Fletcher Lee Williams Sr.'s Obituary
Statesville - Mr. Fletcher Lee Williams Sr. 77, formerly of Mt. Olive, NC, passed on Wednesday, February 17, 2021 at the Kindred Hospital, Greensboro, NC. He was affectionately known to family as "Bubba" and friends as "Cocky". Homegoing service will be held on Sunday, February 28, 2021 at 2:00pm at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home & Cremations, 1701 Wayne Memorial Drive, Goldsboro, NC. He will be laid to rest at the Carver Memorial Park, South Breazeale Ave, Mt. Olive, NC. There will be a chapel viewing held on Sunday, February 28, 2021 from 12:00pm to 1:45pm at the funeral home.
He was born on October 4, 1943 in Wayne County, NC to Walter Williams and Eunice Artis Williams. He was married to his late wife, Geraldine Ingram Williams. He is survived by four children: Patricia Herring Stevens (Gregory Stevens), Sharon Herring Haley, Casty Williams Jones (Pastor Oland Jones) and Fletcher Walter Williams; four grandchildren; three great grandchildren; his siblings and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
