A Homegoing Celebration will be held on Saturday, February 2, 2013 at 12:00 noon at the Goldsboro-Raleigh District Assembly, 211 W. Hooks River Road, Goldsboro, NC with Pastor Edmond Edwards officiating. She was born in Duplin County on June 22, 1951, to Charlie Augustus Johnson and Mary Elizabeth Newkirk Johnson. She is survived by her husband, John Brinson, and her children. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to the National Kidney Foundation or DaVita Goldsboro South, Patient Emergency Fund, C/O Tanya DeLeon, 1704 Wayne Memorial Drive, Goldsboro, NC 27534.
