Goldsboro - Ms. Flossie B. Carraway, 96, fought the good fight and finished her earthly course on Tuesday, January 9, 2024 at home surrounded by her beloved daughter, Ruby. The celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, January 20, 2024 at11:00am with a viewing from 10:00am to 10:45am at God's House Of Prayer, 716 East Elm Street, Goldsboro, NC. She will be laid to rest at the Wayne Memorial Park, 2925 US Hwy 117 South Dudley, NC.
She was born to the late Reverend Edward Carr Wooten and Lannie (Sutton) Wooten on July 19, 1927 in Dudley N.C. Cherished memories are left to her daughter, Sharon Bell (Norwood Bell) of Goldsboro NC; son, Ricky Carraway (Shannon Carraway) of Pompano Beach, FL; daughters, Angela Carraway, Cynthia Whitfield (Timothy Whitfield) and Ruby Carraway all of Goldsboro, NC, and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
