I met sister Francis when I was about seven years old living in Mt. Vernon NY. Her family and mine was very close and we attended the same church Mt. Calvary CME. I will never forgot her loving smile and kindness she always took the time to help others. And she treated everyone like her family and did whatever she could. The Wheeler family will always hold a special place in my heart, I was very saddened to hear of her passing. Francis thank you for being the beautiful person that has left a big impact on everyone you came in contact with. Love always Cathy Hill-Dixon

My auntie Franny was and forever will be the best. she cooked for us EVERYDAY. she taught us that grammar was important in life because speaking well will get you far. she gave every one of her nieces and nephews a nickname. everyone knew where to go when they wanted fried chicken. if she met you today, she’d invite you over for dinner bc she loved making people feel loved. she was the neighborhood aunt & everyone could get a plate. I’ll miss you biting off my mcchicken and eating half my fries on the way home from mcdonalds. I loved you yesterday, today, and forever ❤️
