Nevada - Mr. Freddie Lee Dawson, 67 formerly of Goldsboro, passed on Friday, December 19, 2014 in Las Vegas. The celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, December 27, 2014 at 1:00pm at Central Heights FWB Church, 302 Ervin Drive, Goldsboro, NC with Elder Scottie Rodgers as the eulogist. He will be laid to rest in Old Mill Cemetery, Central Heights Road, Goldsboro, NC. There will be a visitation held on Friday, December 26, 2014 from 5:00pm until 7:00pm with the family arriving from 6:00pm until 7:00pm at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home and Cremations, 1701 Wayne Memorial Drive, Goldsboro, NC. He was born in Wayne County, NC on March 23, 1947 to Luther and Maude Smith Dawson. He is survived by his wife and children. Professional, sympathetic, dignified, compassionate care and service entrusted to J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home and Cremations. The family is receiving friends at the home of his daughter, MIchelle Dawson Coley at 202 Bayleaf Drive, Goldsboro, NC, where they also assemble in preparation for the funeral procession.
