Goldsboro - Ms. Gaynell Bynum Young Pickens, 77 of 229 E. Seymour Drive, passed on Wednesday, December 30, 2015 at Willow Creek Nursing & Rehab, Goldsboro, NC. The celebration of her life will be held on Wednesday, January 6, 2016 at 11:00am at Saints Delight UHC, 976 La Grange Road, La Grange, NC. She will be laid to rest at Willowdale Cemetery, 306 E. Elm Street, Goldsboro, NC. There will be a visitation held on Tuesday, January 5, 2016 from 4:00pm until 6:00pm at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home and Cremations,
She was born on July 24, 1938 in Wayne County, NC to Campfield Bynum and Ella Jackson Bynum. She is survived by her daughters: Gloria, Valerie, Megail and Ella Young; ten sisters and brothers; nineteen grandchildren, sixty-eight great grandchildren and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.
