Mt. Olive - Senior Deacon George L. Bowden, 77, passed on Wednesday, January 27, 2021. There will be a public viewing held on Saturday, January 30, 2021 from 2:00pm to 6:00pm with the family present to greet friends at 4:00pm in the J. Bernardo Rhodes Memorial Chapel at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home & Cremations, 195 Kenansville Hwy, Warsaw, NC. There will be a private graveside service held on Monday, February 1, 2021.
He was born on August 24, 1943 in Duplin County, NC to John Henry Bowden and Eloise Ammons Bowden. He is survived by his children.
