George "Marvin" Brown, the youngest of four children, was the son of the late George Andrew and Frances Azaelia Freeman Brown. He was born in Philadelphia Pennsylvania on April 12, 1940. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Faye Simmons Brown; daughters: Sydney Nicole Brown, Greensboro, NC, Lisa A. Brown, Marsha (Cornelle) Goins and Leslie E. Brown, Philadelphia, Pa; son, Brian Brown, Sicklerville, NJ; grandson, Brandon Phillips, Philadelphia, Pa; sister, Marilyn A. Brown, Philadelphia, Pa and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends
