Mother Georgia Lee Harper's Obituary
Fremont - Mother. Georgia L. Harper,95, completed her earthly journey and transitioned from labor to reward on Sunday, June 23, 2024 at Kitty Askins Hospice Center, Goldsboro, NC. The celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, June 29, 2024 at 1:00pm at St. James Church of Christ DOC, 514 Memorial Church Road, Fremont, NC. There will be church visitation on Friday, June 28, 2024 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm with the family receiving friends at 6:00pm at First Missionary Baptist Church, 410 S. Goldsboro Street, Fremont, NC. She will be laid to rest at the Fremont Cemetery, 174 Winding Branch Avenue, Fremont, NC.
She was born on October 7, 1928 in Wayne County, NC to George Washington Sutton and Mary Artis Sutton. She is survived by her children, grandchildren and other loving relatives and friends.
The family will receive visitors at the home daily, from 12:00pm to 8:00pm leading up to the homegoing service.
