Goldsboro - Ms. Georgia Packer, 89, passed on Saturday, October 24, 2015 at Brian Center & Rehabilitation Center, Goldsboro, NC. The celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, October 31, 2015 at 11:00am at Alpha and Omega Christian Center, 1210 Clingman Street, Goldsboro, NC with Apostle Frank Dawson officiating. She will be laid to rest at Old Mill Cemetery, 3718 Central Heights Road, Goldsboro, NC. There will be a visitation held on Friday, October 30, 2015 from 4:00pm until 7:00pm with the family arriving to receive friends from 6:00pm until 7:00pm in the J.B. Rhodes Jr. Memorial Chapel at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home and Cremations.
She was born on July 7, 1926 in Wayne County, NC to Claude Howell and Lillian Wade. She is survived by her children.
