Goldsboro - Mrs. Geraldine Cox Atkinson, 91, passed on Friday, January 18, 2019 at Kitty Askins Hospice Center, Goldsboro, NC. The celebration of her life will be held on Wednesday, January 23, 2019 at 12:00 noon at Best Grove Missionary Baptist Church, 1065 Tommys Road, Goldsboro, NC. She will be laid to rest at Wayne Memorial Park, 2925 US Hwy 117 South, Dudley, NC. There will be a viewing held on Wednesday, January 23, 2019 from 11:00am to 12:00 noon at the church.
She was born on January 15, 1928 in Wayne County, NC. She is survived by her three children: Byron (Evangeline) Atkinson of Raleigh, NC, Evelyn A. Starkie and Debora A. Sinclair both of Goldsboro, NC; her grandchildren, and many other loving relatives and friends.
