Goldsboro - Ms. Geraldine "Bean" Barnes Rowe, 81, passed on Monday, October 15, 2018 at the Goldsboro Assisted Living, Goldsboro, NC. The celebration of her life will be held on Monday, October 22, 2018 at 11:00am at Greenleaf Christian Church DOC, 2110 N. William Street, Goldsboro, NC with Reverend Dr. William Barber officiating. She will be laid to rest at Elmwood Cemetery, Goldsboro, NC. There will be a viewing held on Monday, October 22, 2018 from 10:30am to 11:00am at Greenleaf Christian Church DOC, 2110 N. William Street, Goldsboro, NC.
She was born on January 17, 1937 in Wayne County, NC to late Frank Barnes Sr. and Mattie Lee Best Barnes. She is survived by one James P. (Aileen) Rowe Jr. of Goldsboro, NC, four grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, two brothers and two sisters and many other loving relatives and friends.
